VLT is short for visible light transmission, the percentage of light that makes it through the glass. Lower number, darker glass, less light in.
Near-clear
Keeps the factory look. You can still see in and out with no trouble. Good on windshields or for anyone who wants the heat and glare cut without changing how the car looks.
Factory dark
The shade most sedans and daily drivers land on. Reads as tinted, not blacked out. Balances privacy with a clear view once the sun goes down.
Dark
A noticeably deeper shade for trucks and SUVs. More privacy, more heat cut, and harder to see through from outside.
Limo black
As dark as it gets. Near-total privacy, built for rear windows and back seats where that matters most.
Florida law requires front side windows to let at least 28% of light through. That keeps 70% and 35% shades legal up front. Darker shades like 20% and 5% still have a place on a vehicle, just further back. Tell us what you're picturing and we'll tell you what's legal on your specific windows.
